Case study
Omedia - Angular & Drupal full-stack development
Omedia · Jun 2022 - Present
My home base - the Tbilisi agency where my full-stack practice lives. Across a varied client portfolio I build Angular front-ends and Spring Boot APIs, leaning on a shared set of Angular patterns and tooling I carry from one project to the next, and develop and maintain Drupal sites wherever that’s the right tool for the brief.

Stack
- Angular
- TypeScript
- Signals
- NgRx
- RxJS
- Java
- Spring Boot
- Drupal 8 / 9 / 10
- Twig
- PHP
- Custom modules
- Theming
The problem
The brief changes client to client - a signals-driven SPA one week, a Drupal theme the next. Delivering enterprise-grade work across that variety means not starting from scratch each time: the codebase needs shared, reusable Angular tooling, and the judgement to pick the right stack for each job.
The approach
- 1
Maintain a shared toolkit of reusable Angular patterns, components, and conventions, reused across client projects to keep quality high and delivery fast.
- 2
Build and maintain Drupal websites and applications - custom themes, templates, modules, content types, and configuration across Drupal 8 / 9 / 10.
- 3
Keep every build responsive, accessible, and performance-optimised, integrating third-party services and APIs across both Angular and Drupal.
- 4
Reach for a signals-first, OnPush Angular architecture with NgRx when a project calls for a full SPA.
Outcomes
- A shared Angular toolkit that compounds across the portfolio - new client projects start from proven patterns, not a blank page.
- Full-stack range across Angular, Spring Boot, and Drupal - the right tool for each brief instead of one stack forced everywhere.
- Mentored peers and shared practices across the agency.
